This tenth-century runestone with writing in Old Norse reads in short-twig runes:
"Áleifr/Óleifr Ljótulfs sonr reisti kross þ[e]nna eptir [Ul]f, son sinn." (Norse)
"Áleifr/Óleifr, Ljótulfrs son raised this cross in memory of Ulfr, his son." (English)
The stone also has a cross engraved on it. It was discovered in the Old Church graveyard, but is now on display inside. (The coordinates are for the front door of the church.)
For more information, and a sketch of the stone when it was in better shape (the cross in particular has become very weathered), see (

The church is open during daylight hours and has Sunday services.
