Salisbury Zoological Park - Salisbury, MD - Zoos on Waymarking.com

Located in Salisbury, MD, this zoological park is situated adjacent the Elks Golf Club, on South Park Drive. Although relatively small, there is much to see. At the time of our visit there were several types of birds, bears, wildcats, wolves, turtles, monkeys, but no elephants or gorillas at that time. The park is well maintained, clean, and complete with a snack bar and restrooms. A great place to stroll, relax, and get a little educated.

Getting there is relatively easy from US "Business" Route 50, at the Civic Avenue intersection, go south on Civic Ave., the turn right onto Glen Ave., then take your first left onto Memorial Plaza to the park. There is free parking.

The was no actual admission charge at the gate, the park depends on donations.
