King Street starts at Main Street up the hill and ends at this intersection. About 100 ft away is a stone arch railroad bridge.
The rose is in a cement circle. Metal and stone has been embedded in the concrete. There are eight points to the compass and a ring in red with the initials for each point. The four major ones extend beyond the ring.
