Large waterfall serving as a centrepiece at Canada's Wonderland.
Victoria Falls have been a part of Wonder Mountain since the park's opening in 1981. Over the years, they have undergone some changes, but water path, flow rate etc are essentially the same. However, up until about 1995 there were three other higher water outlets, on flowing into the present falls, and the others near where Vortex is now located, and where Thunder Run is located.
During the summer months, a high dive performance is conducted from atop the falls.
At night the falls become a "screen" for the Starlight Spectacular, a combination of music, lighting and water fountains set to the music.
During the early years of the park, visitors could walk behind the falls from one side to the other, and climb to the "top" of the mountain. However, fire, safety and security concerns have seen this feature closed off for many years now.
