For several miles along North Argonne and North Bruce Roads, we noticed that the terrain had become extremely undulating, with the valleys about 100 feet below the crests. Then we noticed that the large slopes had smaller "ripples" superimposed upon them. That's when it struck us - "Missoula Flood Features"!
We stopped at a place where the large ripples with smaller superimposed ripples were quite noticeable from ground level. The sequence of large ripples isn't possible to capture from ground level, but we caught some real nice examples of the smaller ripples on the slopes of the larger ones at the corner of North Bruce Road and East Mount Spokane Park Drive.
This area is agricultural, with fields in every direction. It is about 2 miles east of the eastern edge of north Spokane on East Mount Spokane Park Drive.
I've listed Access, below, as "Open", though the features are on private property, because there is no need to access the property to view the features.
