Mary Mary Quite Contrary is one of many pieces of public art in Boulder. She is located on California Avenue at the bottom of City Square and is shown with her watering can. The artist was L'Deane Trueblood and Mary was donated to the city by the Boulder Dam Credit Union in 2008.
During our visit, most of the statues in town had purple scarves on them. We don't know the reason, or if it is always like this.
