Scafell Pike is England's highest fell (mountain), and a very popular destination for everyone. Pillar is roughly built from materials to hand. In good condition.

Built 10th April 1936 as Primary station PP92. Rebuilt in June 1950 retaining Face Plate S1537.
Shortest approach probably from Wasdale Head. Views are superb. Path is well constructed nearly all the way.
