This is located west of the town of Duck Lake, on Kohisville Beardy Indian Reservation. It is nice hwy stop with other monuments and dedications.

Here on 26th March, 1885, occurred the first combat between the Canadian Government Forces, under Major LNE Crozier, and the Metis and Indians, under Gabriel Dumont.
