The Pinfold is situated at the southwest end of the village by the Norwell Parish Gardens (or Allotments) opposite the Plough public house and on the corner of the roads to Bathley and Norwell Woodhouse.
Built in the 18th century, it is a grade two listed building.

The pinfold is round, and at 33ft diameter the largest round pinfold in the county. The brick walls are 1 ft thick, with half round stone coping, and approximately 5 ft 6ins in height.

The gate opening is 5ft with brick pillars 16ins square with stone caps. It is fitted with a wooden framed gate with angle strut and upright slats.

The ground inside is rough grass.

There is a small descriptive plate fitted to the front wall by the gate.
