Bradford City Hall represents last Victorian eclecticism as found in the towns of predominately rural counties. It is Bradford's effort in incorporating the elegance of the flamboyant Victorian motifi into a public edifice. The City Hall employs a number of architectural styles to produce a large municipal building balancing art and function in a sound substantial structure. Building of this type represents the awareness of architectural styles in the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania.
The city hall was constructed in 1897 features a four story clock tower that has a four-dialed clock created by Seth Thomas around 1910.
