The Nut Tree Plaza shopping mall features a park with a miniature train ride, a carousel, games, and entertainment for families. The cut-out includes several animals, including a rabbit, monkey, elephant, owl, giraffe, and lion. The cut-outs have painted faces of the animals which are visible when the hinged door is closed.
Admission is free. This is a fun place to bring children as there are lots of eye-catching attractions, games, and activities in the little park. The park is colorful and well maintained.
The Nut Tree Plaza in near the intersection of Highways 80 and 505. There once was an old, 1950s era restaurant at this location, but it was torn down and replaced by the current expansive mall.
