Loomis, California, elevation 399 feet, is a rather rural community which straddles Highway 80 in California's Gold Country.

This sign appears on the eastern border of the town on Laird Road as it crosses the city limits just about 400 feet north of the intersection of Laird Road and Loomis Hills Road.
