This is the sole remaining elevator in the village of Barons of the six built in the town over the years.

Given that there was a single metal clad elevator built in Barons, we can be relatively certain that this was the first UGG elevator built there. It was built in 1940. Later sold to the Alberta Wheat Pool, it was operated by them as Alberta Wheat Pool #5. It was last operated by Feenstra Feeds, who may still operate it. It definitely appears to still be in use.
