In a city that is described as being "The Spinach Capital Of The World", it is only fitting that Popeye would make an appearance here and there. Here is where his presence is most popularly known - directly in the center of Popeye Park, where there is a bronze likeness of the beloved character as the centerpiece of a lovely fountain.

Other features of the beautiful little park include three gazebos, an enormous mural of early Alma, and plenty of seating scattered throughout. All-in-all, this is really quite a lovely place to spend a little time relaxing in this quaint town.
