The monument is located in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto, Ontario, just east of Mount Pleasant Road.
The granite marker is dedicated to all those who served with the 48th Highlanders of Canada since the Regiment's founding.
Front text reads:
IN PROUD AND LOVING MEMORY OF THE OFFICERS, NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS AND MEN WHO HAVE SERVED WITH THE 48TH HIGHLANDERS OF CANADA
Affixed just above is the regimental crest with the motto DELEAS GU BRATH (Forever Faithful).
The back of the monument lists the Regiment's Battle Honours, from the Boer War to World War II.
