The Disc Golf Hall of Fame is dedicated to preserving the history and integrity of disc golf. It seeks to honor outstanding contributors to the sport of disc golf by annually inducting individuals nominated and selected by a duly empowered Board of Directors.

The Hall of Fame started in 1993 with the induction of seven members of the disc golf community - Ed Headrick, Dan Roddick, Jim Palmeri, Tom Monroe, Dave Dunipace, Vanessa Chambers and Ted Smethers. In 1994, seven more members were inducted, followed by five more in 1995. Starting in 1996, two nominees and ties have been inducted at the yearly Disc Golf World Championships.

A wall of plaques, one per inductee, are displayed at the International Disc Golf Center, which opened in 2007.

A special webpage exists for Women in the Disc Golf Hall of Fame.
