This former Howard Johnson’s is located at U.S. highway 301, at the interchange with I-95, in Manning, South Carolina. It was a classic Motor Lodge and Restaurant complex that opened in the summer of 1968. On the large size, it boasted 80 guest rooms, and lasted as a Howard Johnson's complete with its Restaurant until 1987.

Though the building has been repainted in a red color, the tell-tale orange color can be seen through some peeling paint.

The neighboring restaurant is now Georgio's Restaurant & Pizza.
