Located on the Village Green, Opposite the church. Grade 2 listed building.
Constructed of limestone rubble 15ins thick, with gritstone coping stones. The walls are 3ft 7ins high, with a rear wall of 4ft 10ins.
There is an original opening in one corner, 4ft wide with no gate. A second opening has been made for public access, with three steps down to the level of the green.
The floor is concreted with two seats, and flowerbeds inside the pinfold.
A nearby stream may have provided water.
The pinfold was restored in 1989 and again in 2012.
There is a commemorative plaque and an information panel.
Approximate dimensions: Rectangle 25ft 2ins x 18ft 10ins.
