Portland is a small town to the west of the Blue Mountains & experiences very cold weather in Winter. This sign reminds visitors like me who live on the coast just how cold it can get in the high country. A westerly was blowing as well so I was well rugged up.
The time was 12:32 & it was only 12 degrees Celsius. A couple of days later it snowed, the earliest snow has fallen in many years.
