La Municipalité d’Ivry-sur-le-Lac est située à environ 100 kilomètres au nord de Montréal. Ses voisins immédiats sont la Ville de Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts et la Municipalité de Saint-Faustin-Lac-Carré.
Le lac Manitou se trouve au centre de la Municipalité et l’Hôtel de Ville est situé à l’extrémité nord d’une de ses baies.
La Municipalité, ayant une population éparse, s’étend sur un grand territoire d’environ 7 kilomètres, du nord au sud, et de 5 kilomètres d’est en ouest. Plusieurs lacs et cours d’eau (incluant également les lacs de la Grise, Fer-à-Cheval, de la Brume, Drummond et Éphrem) sont entourés de forêts magnifiques où abonde la vie animale.
Ivry-sur-le-Lac est une communauté résidentielle et ses citoyens y sont attirés principalement par une qualité de vie imbattable.
The Municipality of Ivry-sur-le-Lac is located 100 km north of Montreal. Its immediate neighbours are Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts and Saint-Faustin-Lac-Carré.
Lake Manitou is at the center of the municipality’s territory and the Town Hall is located at the northern tip of one of its arms.
The municipality covers a large area, running roughly 7 km from north to south and 5 km from east to west but is very lightly populated. The many lakes (including Fer à Cheval, de la Brume, Drummond, and Éphrem) and streams are surrounded by beautiful forest. Wildlife abounds.
Ivry-sur-le-Lac is a residential community. Its citizens continue to be attracted by a quality of life that is hard to match
