SCHOOLS OF ILASCO
1904 - 1945 New Marble Creek Grade School
1914 - 1962 Ilasco Grade School
1917 - 1942 Slovak Lutheran School
1926 - 1935 Stillwell Addition Grade School
1926 - 1959 Ilasco High School
The Romanian Hall, Ilasco Baptist Mission Church and Ukrainian Orthodox Church basement were also used for public schools in different years during the early 1900's.
None of the school building are currently standing. The foundation for the high school is still in the wooded area south of the Methodist Church, but nothing else. My photo of the foundation was destroyed by a misguided cup of coffee.
