La caserne no 28 avait changé de vocation en 1983, après des années d'abandon, pour abriter deux copropriétés dès 1984. Par la suite, une autre transformation à été fait depuis en faire une seule propriété sur trois étages.
Anecdote, des bourrasques dans la cheminée avaient fait démarrer le système d'alarme inutilement à quelques reprises. Un jour, elle n'avait pas appelé les pompiers assez vite et ceux-ci s'étaient rendus sur place. Pour rien. «Je les avais invités à entrer quand même.
