Maj. Gen Joe H. Engle- war fighter pilot, pioneer test pilot, NASA astronaut's patriotic mural in downtown. He's a member of the Lancaster's Aeronautical Walk of Honor along Lancaster Blvd's sidewalks. At the corner of Fern Ave and Lancaster Blvd on the eastside of the Wells Fargo Bank building wall. He flew fighters, first supersonic test jets (X aircrafts) and the spaceshuttle.
