St. Patrick's Mission is a small Catholic Church located in a log-cabin style structure, located near the post office in Duncannon, Virginia. The building was constructed in 1946-1947 by the Glenmary Home Missioners (www.glenmary.org), a Catholic charitable organization dedicated to caring for underserved areas of rural Appalachia. The church was transferred to the Richmond Diocese in December 2013, and is currently operated in combination with St. Bernard's, another Glenmary church located in nearby Gate City, by the Holy Trinity Parish Cluster (www.stanthonycatholic.org)
St. Patricks supports a quite small community of parishioners, consisting of less than two dozen souls at the most generous estimate. Services are conducted on Sundays at noon.

Thanks to Manville Possum Hunters, who initially created the waymark for this church. The photos in the gallery are his work, not mine.
