Located inside the lobby to the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum and in front of the Museum store and Admissions counter is an Eagle Scout project that was created by Gabriel Hohn in 2012, based on a plaque that hangs on a wooden box. This box is a dropoff for retired, torn or tattered flags of the United States so that they can be properly disposed of, according to the Unites States Flag guidelines.
