Chicago Park is a community in southern Nevada county. It was given the name in 1888 when developers from Chicago Illinois ventured westward with the dreams and ideas of establishing a colony. The colony considered of a town a park, and subdivided land for farming. But the plans never fully developed as financial backers withdrew their money. The idea was called Storms Ranch for circa 1851-1887.
