English Description:
North of Siegelsberg is this Watchtower, an ordinary guard who was probably occupied with eight men, a "contubernia". This was the smallest military unit only just a tent, a barrack room or even a tower filled. The soldiers were seconded for several days from their fort and had a very confined space along with each other, where they took turns at guard duty, patrolling and rest periods. Your meals they prepared themselves from inventories, which they had been allocated for their use. Mainly there was a ration of grain. Finds of hunting rifles at many Limes towers suggest that the soldiers their diet aufbesserten with game during the Frontier Service.
The foundation of this item has been reconstructed to a height of four meters with original stones.

Nördlich von Siegelsberg liegt dieser Wachtturm, ein ganz gewöhnlicher Wachposten, der vermutlich mit acht Mann, einer "contubernia" besetzt war. Dies war die kleinste militärische Einheit, die gerade eben ein Zelt, eine Kasernenstube oder eben einen Wachtturm füllte. Die Soldaten wurden für mehrere Tage aus ihrem Kastell abgeordnet und mussten auf sehr beengtem Raum miteinander auskommen, wobei sie sich bei Wache, Streifgängen und Ruhezeiten abwechselten. Ihre Mahlzeiten bereiteten sie sich selbst zu aus den Vorräten, die sie für ihren Einsatz zugeteilt bekommen hatten. Hauptsächlich bestand die Ration aus Getreide. Funde von Jagdwaffen an vielen Limestürmen legen nahe, dass die Soldaten während des Grenzdienstes ihren Speiseplan mit Wildbret aufbesserten.
Das Fundament dieses Postens wurde bis zu einer Höhe von vier Metern mit Originalsteinen rekonstruiert.
