Mountain View Cemetery is located west of Trail about 8 km on Highway 3B. It is past the Old Trail Cemetery. It is on your right if coming from Trail.

The cemetery was established in 1930. It is currently an active cemetery for the town of Trail and surrounding community.
Easily seen while passing by on the highway, this arched entry begins with stone pillars, which support an all steel arch. The arch consists of a pair of steel tubes with coarse wire mesh stretching between them as a background for the lettering, the whole supported by equally sized steel tubes mounted in the stone pillars.
The Mountain View Cemetery is located on a gently sloping hillside and is maintained by the City of Trail. There is a mausoleum located at the rear of the cemetery.
According to the information I located it is stated that there are 6,975 grave sites as of 2013.
