A 2 story home that is symmetrical around the front door and the home of General John Spurr. He was one of the youngest participants in the Boston Tea Party of 1773. His military career included as a private at Bunker Hill, Corporal in 1775, Captain in 1779 and a Major in 1780. He became a Major General in the Militia. Born in Stoughton MA in 1759, he settled in Charlton in 1783.
