I have been patronizing this corner market since I was a teenager (25 years ago). This neighborhood store competes with another neighborhood market (Dicky's) a few blocks away. And there's another neighborhood market about four blocks from both stores that sits in the middle of Mills addition (hardly anybody knows this store exists). It's unusual to see these small stores still functioning and competing in today's age of supermarkets but here they are and still a popular pit stop for patrons needing a quick drink, smokes or snack.
