Accessible by passenger car or light truck and a walk of less than 50 m. Hamilton-wentworth
Concrete water inlet well marked stoney creek w.w. 1954, 2.7 km north of highway no. 8 intersection with lake avenue, 0.5 km northwest of queen elizabeth way interseciton with lake avenue, 30.5 m northeast of gauge house and old pumping station marked stoney creek water works, tablet in top of the northeast corner of well, 27 cm from the east face and 24 cm from the north face. Established by canadian hydrographic service.
