On March 12, 2014, between 0626 and 0631 the International Space Station passed over Texas. 8Nuts MotherGoose in Donna, TX and Benchmark Blasterz in Garland, TX observed the ISS on the same pass.

The weather in Donna was slightly foggy. Only a couple stars could be dimly seen through the veil of fog. At 06:26:37 the ISS came out of the Earth’s shadow and lit up through the fog with a brightness magnitude of -3.4 at an altitude of 64° due West. It reached a maximum altitude of 69° at 06:26:55. About one minute later the ISS disappeared as the fog thickened.
Benchmark Blasterz, located in Garland, TX also saw the ISS on the same pass. The weather in Garland was clear. The ISS reached a maximum altitude of 56° at 06:28:28.
The distance between Donna, TX and Garland, TX along the ISS flight path is 454 miles.
