The old brick tiles from above the entrance of a pottery works that was demolished have been incorporated in the perimeter wall of the retail park that was built in it's place.

"UNICORN POTTERY Rebuilt 1890".

The pottery employed up to 700 people in it's heyday. The building was demolished to make way for the retail park. These old brick tiles displaying the pottery's name once formed part of the building above the main entrance.
