At the 'Badstraße' directly at the 'Rosensteinbrücke' in Bad Cannstatt, Germany, Baden-Württtemberg exists an old Civil Defense Shelter. It is called 'BW 101'.

At the 'Badstraße' directly at the 'Rosensteinbrücke' in Bad Cannstatt, Germany, Baden-Württtemberg exists an old Civil Defense Shelter. It is called 'BW 101'.

The defense shelter has been built in 1941/42.
Originally it has had a capacity for 1,470 people.
Nowadays its capacity is only 546.

The ground size of the shelter is only64 m².
It is created above the ground! It has eight levels above and one level below the ground.

After World War II the shelter was temporarry used as a hotel.
