These plaques are in the walkway in the middle of the parking lot for the library. They run up and down the sides of the walkway as you enter the library and civic center.

The plaque says, "The city of Mission Viejo honors Quoc Binh 'Bo' Tran who died November 7, 2007 during Operation Iraqi Freedom while serving in the California Army National Guard, 181st Support Battalion. He will be remembered as a hometown hero who made the ultimate sacrifice for his country."

Plaque was placed in May of 2005.
