The restored one-room school house was built in 1870. The building is constructed of bricks made from clay from a nearby farm pond. The building served continuously as a primary school until 1952. The building is open occasionally for tours but not on a set schedule but is open if the flag is flying. The inside has been restored with period desks, potbelly stove along with traditional education materials and readers. Admission is charged to enter the building.
