The station is now unmanned as a new station, the Oak Flats Interchange just to the south, handles the bulk of passenger services. Albion Park station was built in 1887 with a single platform & an additional platform was added in 2001 when electrification was extended to Kiama.
The platforms are quite long as they must accommodate 8 car passenger trains.
There is all day parking adjacent to the station but if you need to continue your journey by bus you must alight at Oak Flats.
