This Memorial to the Confederate Veterans of Floyd County Virginia stands on the grounds of the Floyd County Courthouse. The Courthouse is located at the intersection of Route 8 and Route 221. Free Parking is available directly in front of the courthouse and monument. The inscription on the memorial reads:

"Stoop, Angels, Hither from the skies, there is no holier spot of ground, than where defeated valor lies. By mourning beauty crowned. In Memory of our fallen soldiers, 1861-1865"
