Comprised of several figures and parts of figures, this interesting work contains a soaring eagle with wings fully outstretched, a relief of a bear fishing for salmon and an upraised arm, its hand forming the boy scout salute.

The sculpture has no attendant plaque nor signage to tell us about the work or the artist, which is unfortunate, as it is a really interesting piece, with the scout salute and the eagle, almost certainly a boy scout project.

Carved from a ten foot section of a tree, the sculpture is easily seen while driving by, as it is near the highway toward the south end of the park and just north of the playground to the east.
