This is just a few feet west of the highway, right on the Canada US border at the Paterson Border Crossing. It is directly across from its partner, Mon 174-B. They are on Highway 22 in Canada and Highway 25 in the US.
Though MON 174 has a datasheet (two, actually), these two do not. MON 174 was monumented in 1905 but these two were monumented much later, possibly 1945 at the earliest. Benchmark V280 is set in the concrete pad.
