World War I "Spirit of the American Doughboy" statue on top of a boulder in the town square. Supposedly made in Italy, now thought carved in Marietta, GA.

Statue possibly made of Alabama or Georgia marble. The large round base is carved from Georgia marble. There is a Confederate flag carved on the east side and an U.S. flag on the west side.
