Na vrcholu Kank se nachází krásný empírový pomník v dórském stylu, který nechal vybudovat hrabe Jan Rudolf Chotek v roce 1814. Nad památníkem je navršená mohyla a na ní stojí sedm metru vysoký kamenný sloup z kutnohorského „mušláku“ s kovovým krížem na svém vrcholku.
Nemecký nápis na pomníku pripomíná jednu kutnohorskou tragedii, kterou bylo shazování živých husitu do dulních šachet. Behem husitských válek (1419 – 1421) byla tímto zpusobem zabita katolickým vojskem až stovka husitu z Kutnohorska. Jedním z obetí se stal i kourimský farár Chuodek, kterého hrabe Chotek považoval za svého predka. A to dalo patrne impuls ke stavbe pomníku.

Ceský nápis pripomíná jedny z nejvetších hornických nepokoju proti sociálnímu útlaku v ceských zemích, které zacaly v roce 1494 a vyvrcholily o dva roky pozdeji, kdy zde byla rozprášena hornická vzpoura, jejíž predáci byli následne popraveni v Podebradech.

Depicted monument on the top of Kank hill is made to commemorate two rebellions/revolutions/wars. Firstly there's mentioned below mentioned Hussite Rovolution. As second commemorated event there's mentioned rebellion of miners which started in 1494 and ended two years later, when leaders of rebellion were executed in Podebrady.

...also called the Bohemian Wars or the Hussite Revolution, were fought between the Hussites (followers of Bohemian religious dissenter Jan Hus) and various monarchs who sought to enforce the authority of the Roman Catholic Church against the Hussites, and also between Hussite factions. These wars lasted from 1419 to circa 1434.
