Wombala Road is a typical graded gravel road to the point where it descends to the Mandemar Creek, when it becomes a loose, rocky track. The causeway is just the creek's bed & on the opposite side the road ascends ending at a farm several hundred metres away.

The creek itself is quite attractive & worth a walk downstream from the causeway. Due to many months of dry weather there is no running water, only a few deep holes. You can park on the causeway on the downstream side.
