The three-sided village sign was expecially designed for the Millennium and built by local blacksmiths. It depicts the old windmill (which still stands but the sails have gone), agriculture and the Norman church of St. Mary's.
The sign is situated at a road junction. close to St. Mary's church and the former rectory. In the distance can be seen the unusual spire of St Andrew's Church in the adjacent village of Great Finborough.
