The communal cemetery of Beauvais is called Cimetiere General and is located in the rue de Calais. There is a section of war graves, which can be found at the rear of the cemetery near the military plot.
The shape of the cemetery grounds is a long rectangle, about 450 m long, 100 m wide. There are about, let's say, 10.000 graves there. It's not small, but, of course, considering the size of Beauvais (about 55.000 inhabitants) it's not huge either.
