Milan is a Quebec municipality located in the MRC du Granit in Estrie.
His name, of Milan in Lombardy, is a loan to italienne2 names.
The community was founded in 1877 by Scottish immigrants from Lewis under the name "Marsden." Because of the possible confusion with the Township of Marston, it was renamed "Milan" a few years later.
The 2006 census counted 299 people there

Son nom, de Milan en Lombardie, est un emprunt à la toponymie italienne2.
La communauté fut fondée en 1877 par des immigrants écossais originaires de Lewis sous le nom de « Marsden ». À cause de la confusion possible avec le canton de Marston, on l'a renommée « Milan » quelques années plus tard.
Le recensement de 2006 y dénombre 299 habitants
