The cemetery dates to 1815 with the construction of the first Methodist Church which was founded in 1814. The present Methodist Church was constructed in 1868. The cemetery has a couple hundred grave. Many of the stones have fallen over or are precarious angles. The cemetery is kept mowed by the church.
