The Kirk House (205 Union St., 1815) was built by Eli Kirk, one of Mt. Pleasant's earliest landowners and a Quaker abolitionist. In 1830 Kirk's lot and improvements were assessed at $880.00.

-Historic District Nomination

The two-story brick house appears to be in very good condition. It is a private residence.
