This large Victorian House features 4,149 square feet of living space with 7 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms on a 0.48 acre lot. It has elaborate woodwork and stained glass windows. It was built for Joseph Lytle, owner of a grocery business and, later, a logging company (with his brother Robert). After Joseph's death in 1914, his widow Mary continued to live in the house into the 1930s. The house is located next to the historic Hoquiam's Castle, which was built for Joseph's brother Robert Lytle.
