ParkView School by Fred Lenz - Murals on Waymarking.com

This mural was painted in 1998 by the late Fred Lenz. It depicts school days in the early 1900's in Midland, Ontario. Mr. Lenz painted many murals throughout Midland and some in Penetanguishene.

Like many of his murals, this one represents activities that might have taken place historically on this site and employs many of his trademark techniques. These include the faux stairs that meld smoothly into the existing cement work and the faux grass on the western mural that blends with the real scruff grass.
